Cutaneous Manifestations of the Malignant Lymphomas by Samuel M. Bluefarb, B.S., M.D., F.A.C.P., Associate Professor of Dermatology at Northwestern University Medical School and Attending Dermatologist/Chairman of Dermatology at Cook County Hospital, is a specialized clinical study written for dermatologists and researchers examining how blood and lymphatic cancers manifest in the skin. Part of the American Lecture Series, the book is organized into three major sections — Mycosis Fungoides/Granuloma Fungoides, Hodgkin's Disease, and Lymphosarcoma — each covering definition, etiology, pathogenesis, pathology, clinical features, cutaneous lesions, differential diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment (including early roentgenotherapy and chemotherapy approaches of the era).
The book is heavily illustrated with clinical black-and-white case photographs documenting real patient presentations, including striking side-by-side cases such as psoriasis co-occurring with mycosis fungoides. The photomicrographs were prepared by Miss Maude Walsh, Medical Photographer at Northwestern University Medical School.
Condition & Binding: Hardcover with original dust jacket present. The jacket shows moderate wear — edge and corner rubbing, some creasing, and what appears to be a protective mylar/plastic cover over it. The cloth boards beneath are sound and interior pages are clean. Overall- near fine. Item #1016
